Shawn Van Damme is a seasoned executive and entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience working with start-ups. As Chief Operating Officer of FutureIQ Learning, he leads operations, partnership development, and corporate growth initiatives aligned with sustainability, workforce readiness, and educational technology.

Prior to this role, Shawn served as Chief Operating Officer of a technology education company, where he directed operational strategy and expanded international partnerships supporting digital and blended learning programs. Throughout his career, he has cultivated a strong network of investor, corporate, and global partners—playing a key role in launching and accelerating multiple start-ups. Shawn holds the professional designations GBP™ (Global Blockchain Professional) and CSRP™ (Corporate Social Responsibility)

Gabriel John is an experienced Environmental Economist with more than 17 years of demonstrated success working across both the public and private sectors at the intersection of energy and environmental policy. His career spans academia, government, and industry, where he has contributed to research, teaching, and the design and implementation of sustainable enviro-economic policies and programs addressing complex energy and environmental challenges.

Gabriel has extensive expertise in the development of renewable energy policies and programs, as well as in crafting greenhouse gas emissions and air quality strategies, particularly at the nexus of electricity systems and environmental regulation. He currently applies his knowledge and experience to deliver strategically balanced solutions that advance decarbonization while supporting economic growth and long-term sustainability. 

Outside of his professional work, Gabriel teaches part-time and is an avid traveler who enjoys exploring new regions of the world. He also maintains a strong enthusiasm for both soccer and Formula One, appreciating the precision, intensity, and technical excellence that define each—qualities that mirror the energy and commitment he brings to his work

His work sits at the intersection of human potential and planetary well-being, focusing on the skills and mindset needed for individuals, organizations, and communities to not just adapt—but thrive.
